About Katherine
I've loved reading and writing my entire life. I studied English Literature and Classical Civilizations (Greek and Roman culture and history from the Hellenistic time period) in college. Since graduating, I've worked as an English teacher for middle school students. Currently, I teach English to adults. I love contemporary literature, graphic novels, and poets from the romantic era. In addition to literature, I love writing and enjoy breaking down writing structures for my students.

My lessons are always designed based on student interests and areas for improvement. I have experience teaching secondary students literature and writing. My lesson plans are paced based on the needs of each student. My ultimate goal for each lesson is for my students to feel confident in their ability to improve their reading and writing skills!
