I have known Kristen for the past 10 years. We taught at the same high school for 3 years. Kristen's students enjoyed her dynamic way of interacting with them. Her teaching style was student-centred, allowing for active participation and hands-on activities. I recall collaborating with Kristen to teach Choral speaking to a 7th Grade class to perform at a variety show. Kristen is super creative and allowed student input in the final presentation. I've known Kristen since 2017 when she lived in Trinidad, and I had moved into her neighbourhood. We were neighbours and during this time she taught at St Joseph Girls Convent Secondary School in Port of Spain and since that time I’ve known her to be a dedicated, professional, passionate, hard-working, trustworthy teacher with all her students of all ages. She always finds ways to make learning fun and interesting for the students and she will go the extra mile to ensure that no student is left behind.
