About Nicole
I have over 15 years teaching experience in both brick and mortar and virtual classrooms. In addition to teaching, I have a passion for curriculum writing, integrating SEL and UDL into my lessons, and administrative responsibilities. I am a huge advocate for being a lifelong learner and continually pursue ongoing professional development opportunities. I am certified in K-6, with an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. However, I currently teach 4th Grade Science and Social Studies. I am proficient in many areas of technology including, but not limited to: Canvas, Canvas Blueprint, Canva, Genially, Microsoft 365, Classkick, Zoom, Nearpod, Epic, Sora, Amplify, Padlet, Gizmos, Text Blaze, Miro, Menti, EdPuzzle, Classroom Screen, MagicSchool and Minecraft Education. I design and deliver lessons aligned to state standards, integrating SEL and UDL that ensure mastery of relevant knowledge, content, and skills for all students. Recently, I developed a strong understanding of the science and engineering practices, disciplinary core ideas, and crosscutting concepts included in STEEL Standards.
