About Elizabeth
Hi! As a dedicated tutor, I look forward to getting to know you and what makes you special! I want to learn all about your strengths and help you in any areas you want to grow in! Together we can find what works for you! Whether it's songs, hands-on learning, real-world examples, or just a patient teacher with a good sense of humor, I am here for you! Outside of tutoring, I am a middle school special education teacher at a cyber school in PA. I love creating engaging lessons that meet my students' unique needs. I think if you could ask them to tell you what I am like in one word, it would be "energetic." I love to make learning fun! In my personal life, I love to do anything crafty, cook and bake, watch the Pittsburgh Penguins, and spend time with my husband and our 3 silly dogs! Every lesson is designed to engage, empower, and inspire confidence, ensuring that students feel capable, supported, and motivated to achieve their academic goals.

I use a student-centered teacher that creates my lessons to meet individual student needs. I enjoy using hands-on examples, student interests, and real-world scenarios to promote student learning. Most of my teaching follows the I do, we do, you do model. I believe my ability to work with students of all ability levels sets me apart. Learning starts with building a strong rapport with students, and I truly believe my ability to do that sets me apart from the others. Students who know they are valued and special will rise to the occasion and meet their academic and personal goals.
