About Rosemary
My priority is the students' learning in an easy, fun atmosphere. With almost 10 years experience as a NY certified ELA teacher, I've learned that positively encouraging students every step of the way leads to academic success. In addition to assessing, developing, and creating a plan designed to meet your child's needs, I also utilize positive reinforcement to boost self-esteem, which leads to a more engaged, confident student. The curriculum is personalized to each student—aimed at supporting academic growth in low skill areas while pushing for mastery achievement in high skill areas. I promote high student engagement in cognitive thinking to problem solve, increasing student rigor. I will take the time to meet your child's academic needs while igniting their confidence so they can excel and succeed in their work.
