About Meg
Hi! I’m Meg, mom of two living in Overland Park, Kansas, and crochet has been part of my life since I was a kid. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into a true passion, and over time I realized how much I love sharing it with others.
I’ve taught both kids and adults of all ages, and honestly, the best part is seeing that moment when someone finishes their first project and gets so excited—like “I actually made this!” That happiness never gets old.

Join a crochet class designed to take you from your very first stitch to creating beautiful, professional-quality projects with confidence. As a certified crochet teacher with over 10 years of experience, I focus on building a strong foundation—starting with essential techniques like foundation chains, single crochet, and double crochet—while guiding you step-by-step at your own pace.
Beginners will create fun, practical projects along the way, including bookmarks, charms, pouches, and scarves, so you can see your progress from day one. As your skills grow, you’ll gradually move into more advanced techniques and projects such as amigurumi, working with different yarn weights, and mastering more complex textures and structures.
You’ll also learn valuable skills that elevate your work to a professional level, including understanding color theory, reading patterns, charts, and diagrams, and exploring specialized techniques like mosaic crochet, corner-to-corner (C2C), and Tunisian crochet. Throughout the course, I share expert tips and tricks to help you avoid common mistakes and improve your technique.
