Asim has been working with my son, Ivan, preparing him for A levels as well as my younger one, a 12 year old for her exams. Asim is an incredible teacher - he is thoughtful, organized, very structured, has a great vision of how to bring the material contents in a form that is easy for the student to understand. His explanations are always clear, and he has an efficient, step-by-step way of tackling questions that makes everything easy to understand. He provided tons of helpful practice material and taught me strategies that actually worked on test day. With his help, I scored a 780 on the SAT Math section. Asim taught my son Mandarin for nearly 4 years and was an OUTSTANDING teacher. He also taught me Business Mandarin and I was impressed with his ability to make this difficult language accessible to so many different age groups. I worked with Asim, taking math lessons to improve my skills and test prep. Asim creates a comfortable and suitable environment for a student to feel at ease and ready to learn. Asim is an amazing tutor who has completely transformed my skill and perception of math. Taking me from an F on my first exam, to an A on my fifth in the space of 5 months, making him a super reliable teacher. I prepared for three separate tests with Asim, the SAT, UCAT, and BMAT, over a period of 4 months. These tests required a wide range of skills and concepts, however, with his help, I was able to prepare for all three tests even with the minimal time we had together. For the SAT math section, Asim taught me numerous shortcuts and tips that allowed me to complete the modules under time effectively. By reviewing important content and completing practice questions and tests together, he helped build my confidence over time. There were times where I was stressed and considered not taking the tests but with Asim’s encouragement my SAT score went up by 200 points overall, with a 80 point score improvement in the math section.
