I might not have anything else to say for myself, but when it comes to philosophy, you're in good hands. I have intensively studied this subject for 25 years full-time. I understand the ins and outs of everything to do with analytic, continental, and other schools of philosophy. I know the history of philosophy, from the pre-Socratics to now, and even further back to the ancient shamans of Siberia 70,000 years ago. I've left no stone unturned. You won't find a better philosophy teacher.

My name is James Quirk.

I'm a real life philosopher, like old school Diogenes style.

I studied philosophy intensively for 25 years. It was my life. It was my calling. It was my burden. It was my path and I couldn't stop doing it if I wanted to.

Along the way, I learned a lot.

Don't let anybody tell you that philosophy is worthless. Not only does the subject have inherent psychological value, but it is also a good marketplace skill. Philosophy is not even in the top 10 worst-paying majors to take. Employers know that if someone has taken the time to successfully study such a difficult subject, then the candidate must obviously have a good deal of intelligence and commitment. These are qualities employers value.

My course is designed to give you exactly what you need to know about philosophy, the history of the subject, the main ideas involved, and the current perspectives on them. This is cutting edge information.

I am the founder of dialectical monism, a school of philosophy which is now listed on Wikipedia and has survived almost 20 years of deletion attempts. Dialectical monism is a resurgence and re-envisioning of the Hegelian dialectic, as well as the universal dialectic found in all sorts of world philosophy and spiritual traditions.
