About Blaithnaid
I am a native English speaker with a passion for creating engaging and interesting lessons for students. I have a desire to see the growth of each individual student and I understand that not every student is the same which means all lessons need to be personalised.
I have taught all levels in Ireland and I want to ensure that all lovers have fun and do well and get to the level that they aspire to be and I would love to help you to achieve this goal.
I am a believer in making learning as fun as possible and I hope to create an enjoyable environment for you to learn in!

About the lesson

All lessons will be created with the students own individual needs in mind (grammar, speaking, listening, writing, exams).
If there are certain topics of interest for the student e.g. vocabulary, I can create a lesson to cater for this.
Lesson length: 1 hour/1.5 hours
Lessons are typically for adults 18+
Qualifications: CELTA certification with 1 and a half years of teaching experience with general English classes, exam classes (PET, FCE and Trinity) and one-to-ones.
Lessons will begin with 10/15 minutes of general conversation in order to introduce new vocabulary in a relaxed and natural way.
Usually I will follow this with 15 minutes of listening. This will be related to whatever topics of interests the learner has.
Followed by 15/20 minutes of grammar depending on the requirements of the learner. I will teach this using methodology and exercises. Followed up with some conversation which includes the grammar that was looked at.
