About Anthime
I am a classically trained cellist, singer and composer with 20 years of experience playing cello, 15 years of experience singing, and 8 years of experience composing. I studied Early Music Performance at McGill University and I attended the Musical Theater Workshop at Circle in the Square Theater School. I am the Composer-in-Residence, Musical Director and Vocal Coach for the award-winning, Manhattan-based devised theater company Circle Theater of New York.

My teaching technique draws largely from the work of Jerzy Grotowski, where we focus on freeing muscles of the body and breathing exercises before we play or sing. I believe that if we can free the body we can then, and only then reach the maximum potential as a player or singer.
