About Mireya
I am a Cell Biology (neuroscience, microbiology, biogerontology) PhD candidate with a background in neuroscience and a keen interest in literature. I have a strong foundation in making complex scientific concepts accessible and have worked with children from the ages of 4 to 12 for two years - but will gladly tutor on subjects up to A level. I have a strong academic background (First Class Honours in BSc Neuroscience and a Distinction on a research masters from UCL). I also have experience with the International Baccalaureate programme, having done it myself!
