I am a recent CEGEP student. I graduated with honors, earning a DEC in Natural Sciences, so I have a strong grasp of college-level math, chemistry, and physics. Since I recently completed these courses and am currently enrolled in university, I understand what it's like to hear and process information for the first time. I am familiar with the common roadblocks associated with these certain concepts and subjects, having experienced them myself. Having difficulty with the general sciences? I’d be glad to help you with that! I offer tutoring from the elementary to the early college level in chemistry, math, biology, and physics. Each lesson is personalized and planned beforehand, so communicating your subject, level, general concepts, and goals beforehand is crucial! I like to first focus on the big picture to make sure you’ve got a basic and solid understanding of the topic. I do this visually through diagrams and doodles. After that we can work through pre-selected practice problems, this aims to build on that basic understanding. I focus on practice problems first because that's what you're graded on, and it's the fastest and most authentic way to identify weak spots in your understanding. This approach allows for a candid assessment of your knowledge and helps pinpoint areas that need improvement. Lastly, I like to end sessions with a questioning period to further reinforce your learning and ensure a deeper comprehension of the subject.
