About Mahmoud
Hi, I’m Mahmoud, a dedicated Quran and Arabic educator from Egypt with over 14 years of professional experience. As a graduate of Al-Azhar University Qira't institute Hafs degree, also certified by the American University in Cairo to teach Arabic as a foreign language. I have spent my career helping English-speaking students from all over the world connect deeply with the Quran through the Arabic language.
My mission is to bridge the gap between just "repeating" and truly "understanding." I believe that every student, regardless of their age or background, can achieve perfect recitation and fluency with the right technique and guidance, as reading the Quran in Arabic is known to be an act of worship.
As an experienced educator, I specialize in correcting the pronunciation issues that many non-native speakers face due to local accents or previous incorrect learning. I have successfully guided many adult students to complete their Hifz and helped children who speak no Arabic at all to excel in their school Islamic and Arabic curricula.
I create a patient, structured, and encouraging environment where Tajweed becomes easy to understand and memorize.
