I’m a passionate and reliable tutor currently pursuing an Honors Specialization in Biology with a Minor in Medical Sciences. I graduated high school with a 99% average, hold a 3.8 GPA in university, and have received national science awards including HKSSPC Champion and SciNapse Top 10 Finalist. Chinese Lessons As a native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker, I offer engaging lessons for learners of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. As a tutor, I focus on making learning clear, personalized, and engaging. I use visual aids like diagrams, charts, and real-life examples to help students grasp complex concepts especially in biology and language learning. My lessons are fully trilingual (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese), so students can learn in the language they’re most comfortable with. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a clear explanation of new content using visuals and analogies. We then work through practice problems or interactive discussions, and I wrap up each session with a personalized summary and easy to understand notes. Perfect! Our toddler has really enjoyed her sessions with Carrie. The approach is calm, gentle, and play-based, which works so well for her age. We especially appreciate the use of books and natural Mandarin during play. Highly recommend!
