About Archana

Hi! I'm Archana, a passionate vocalist with a strong foundation in Carnatic classical music and over 5 years of experience teaching both children and adults.

I believe that music should be joyful, inspiring, and easy to learn. My classes are interactive, friendly, and designed to build a strong Carnatic foundation while keeping students motivated and excited to learn.

Along with Carnatic music, students get to explore a variety of genres, including: Bhajans (Sanskrit, Tamil, Hindi & Malayalam) shlokas, Light Music Western Songs (multilingual). This blend of styles keeps classes fresh, fun, and engaging—especially for young learners—while helping them develop confidence, rhythm, expression, and a love for music.

Known for my clear communication and patient teaching style, I simplify musical concepts so that every student learns with confidence, enjoys the process, and grows at their own pace.

I have successfully completed the training program of SAPA (Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts), founded by the legendary musicians Dr. L. Subramaniam and Kavita Krishnamurti, which included Carnatic music, bhajans, and multilingual Western singing, and I am excited to begin my journey as a SAPA educator.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I'd be delighted to be a part of your musical journey. Let's learn, sing, and grow together!

About the lesson

Classes will be of hybrid technique wherein combination of both classical bhajans and cine-based songs is being taught to kids, which creates interest in them. They have been learning basic ragas, geethams, varnams, keerthanams and also Bhajans and Cine songs (including western if they are interested) ..
