About Paul
I am a graduate teacher with a BA in English and an MA in Contemporary Literature. I have been working in education for 5 years: I began tutoring maths to primary-aged children, after which I worked as a learning assistant in a secondary school; I subsequently undertook my teacher training (PGCE) and have been teaching for just under a year.

My methodology is to approach every lesson with an intention (e.g., "By the end of the lesson, the pupil(s) will be able to accurately and confidently identify enjambment"); I then systematically work through a plan in which each stage is justified in relation to the end goal, and each activity accords with research-based practice.
