About Erin
I am an experienced violin instructor with 12 years of tutoring experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. Teaching music has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I enjoy helping students unlock their potential through consistent guidance and support.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive and motivating learning experience. I believe that patience, regular practice, and encouragement are essential for success. Every lesson is designed to match the student's learning style and personal objectives.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have helped many students improve their playing abilities and gain confidence in their skills. One of my proudest achievements has been helping students develop a strong foundation and continue their musical journey with enthusiasm.
I am committed to making learning enjoyable and helping students grow into confident musicians.

I follow a student-centred teaching style that values compassion, encouragement, and clear communication. I understand that every student learns differently, so I design lessons that match their learning pace and goals.
In violin classes, I focus on posture, bow control, rhythm, note reading, and musical expression. I break difficult concepts into smaller steps to make learning more manageable and enjoyable.
I encourage students to ask questions and provide ongoing support throughout their learning journey. Through positive feedback and patience, I help students build confidence and enjoy their progress.
Apart from violin, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and rhythm development. These subjects help students become stronger and more versatile musicians.
My goal is to help students achieve success while enjoying the process of learning music.
