About Anne
As a violin tutor with 12 years of experience, I have successfully taught around 300 students from different age groups, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching approach is based on patience, flexibility, and encouragement, as I believe every student learns in their own way.
I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone production, while also encouraging students to enjoy music and express themselves. I design lessons based on each student’s level and goals to ensure steady progress.
One of my key achievements is helping students overcome challenges and build confidence in their playing. My goal is to make learning violin both enjoyable and effective.

My violin teaching methodology combines clear communication, adaptability, and practical, real-world learning. I assess each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning style, tailoring lessons to meet their specific needs.
I focus on technique development, including posture, bowing, finger placement, intonation, and tone, while integrating creative expression and interpretation. I use real-life examples such as learning songs they love, practicing performance strategies, and connecting music to emotions and stories.
I also teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano to strengthen overall musical understanding. My goal is to make lessons both structured and enjoyable, fostering confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love for music.
