About Denise
"Human anatomy and plant biology define my core expertise. 10 students often ask how I manage complex topics like the nervous system or protein synthesis after my own rigorous studies as an MD candidate at Monash.
I have taught 110 students ranging from homeschoolers and GCSE candidates to college freshmen. My method focuses on scientific method and microbiology with precision. I find that data analysis and graphs become manageable when broken down into logical steps.
Food webs and energy flow occupy a large portion of my analytical focus. Enzymes and metabolism are essential for any medical or dentistry applicant. Adult learners returning to science often appreciate my direct approach to these subjects.
I track 110 students through 3 years of academic growth. Lab report writing remains a staple of my private instruction."

"Clarity during a difficult dissection remains my primary goal for students. My teaching philosophy relies on visual cues to explain complex biochemical reactions. I draw on 3 years of clinical training to help AP Biology students visualize internal systems. We walk through cellular pathways until the logic becomes entirely apparent to the learner.
I integrate data sets to ensure that every student masters the art of scientific inquiry and reporting. My background in medical school allows me to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application for those aiming for high-stakes health careers. The lessons move at a pace determined by the individual needs of the student.
I observe the shift from confusion to mastery in real time. The process concludes once the student feels ready for their exam."
