About Sharon
I am an organized individual as a tutor, as I am a professional, dedicated, and passionate tutor with an excellent educational background in the area of biomedical sciences. I already finished summa cum laude (GPA 4.0) with B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. I am also in medical school as of now. I can contribute not only knowledge, as I can introduce them to its applications as well as its rationale in examinations. I will come prepared in all of my tutoring sessions. Students can look forward to clear communication from me. Aside from these qualities, students can look forward to confidentiality, with compassionate advice as well. I would make it a point to set up a professional environment where they will have the confidence to conquer a difficult course.

My teaching style is diagnostic and student-centered, as I begin by diagnosing the knowledge gaps and filling those knowledge gaps using explanations, visuals, mnemonics, and active recall to achieve mastery. A typical class consists of goal setting, mini-review of concepts, collaborative work on exam-style questions, and informal assessment, including take-home tips. What I bring to the table is the unique skill of taking challenging biomedical concepts and breaking them down into intuitive constructs and teaching exam workarounds.
