About Jackie
By day, I am a cancer researcher who is investigating the metastatic properties of cancer cells. We are hoping to discover the drug that stops cancer from further growth and movement.
Secondly, I am a mom of two boys who love to learn about math and science. This is how I have been able to break down complex scientific concepts for younger minds to make it fun and engaging.
I have taught 4-8 year olds STEM courses on DNA isolation, animal and plant identification, and properties of atoms. Teaching is my passion and I want to share that passion with others!

As a mom of two geeky science boys, I have a lot of experience with teaching science and math while making it fun and engaging. I know how to simplify difficult concepts because I have broken things down with my own kids!
My lessons will focus on breaking things down to the basics to create a good scientific / mathematic foundation. From there we will increase difficulty as you are comfortable.
As a cancer researcher, I am also prepared to handle complex math and science problems and help you to understand them better.
I have tutored from ages of 4 to 25!
