About TheCARScoach
Applying to medical school in Canada is highly competitive, and many strong applicants struggle not because they lack qualifications, but because they have difficulty presenting their experiences effectively. Having recently completed the admissions process myself, I understand both the challenges applicants face and the strategies that can help them succeed.
In my first application cycle, I received three medical school interviews and two acceptances. Throughout the process, I developed a strong understanding of application strategy, narrative development, interview preparation, and what distinguishes compelling applications from those that blend into the crowd.
My experience includes successful applications to Canadian medical schools, extensive preparation for Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs) and panel interviews, and completion of the CARS section of the MCAT at a highly competitive level. I understand the importance of communication, critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and storytelling throughout the admissions process.
I offer personalized support with application planning, activity descriptions, essays, personal statements, interview preparation, mock MMIs, mock panel interviews, and overall admissions strategy. My goal is not to provide generic advice, but to help applicants identify and communicate their unique strengths in a clear, authentic, and persuasive manner.
Students can expect professional, honest, and constructive feedback in a supportive environment. Whether you are applying for the first time or preparing to reapply, I will work with you to build confidence, strengthen your application, and maximize your chances of success.
I primarily work with undergraduate students, recent graduates, and prospective applicants preparing for Canadian medical school admissions.

I highly recommend Austin. He is incredibly smart and knowledgeable, but what really stands out to me is how clearly he explains things. He breaks down complex topics in a way that actually makes sense and he is very patient throughout the process. On top of that, he’s genuinely kind and supportive, which makes learning with him comfortable and motivating. You can tell he truly cares about his students’ success.
Austin is a brilliant tutor. He’s very knowledgeable about CARS and explains passages in a clear, structured way. He’s patient, reliable and genuinely wants his students to succeed. 10/10 recommend
