I am a young and energetic woman who is passionate about helping others learn and who loves to see that lightbulb moment in my students. Outside of work, I am always interacting with language, whether that is by reading novels of a variety of genres or writing.

My lessons always begin with an analysis of students' specific needs so that I can home in on the skills that need to be refined and create a tailored approach instead of fitting everybody into the same cookie-cutter mode. I take a very collaborative approach and track students' progress so that we can compare objective measuring of development with students' subjective feelings of improvement and gain in confidence. I create lesson plans in units, but am always open to making adjustments for my students to make sure they feel like they are in the driver's seat of their own learning.
