About Sean
Diagnostic checks happen first. This initial phase allows me to build a clear map for your growth. We evaluate your rhythm guitar skills and lead guitar technique before choosing a single piece of music. My degree from UCLA informs how I explain the underlying harmony of the songs we play.
I use my 17 years of experience to adjust the pace whenever you hit a wall. We work until you feel the music in your hands. It just happens naturally.

Returning learners often feel like they have forgotten everything they once knew about the fretboard. I am here to help you regain your confidence through a structured approach.
My 17 years of experience include a BA in Latin American Music Studies from UCLA. I handle everything from strumming patterns to complex scales and modes. Electric technique is one of my favorite topics to cover. I keep things light.
You will find that my style is cross cultural and very patient. I want you to feel steady in your progress.
