About Rosa
Teaching exists because I enjoy translating complex musical ideas into physical actions. My sessions cover rhythm and timing, scales and arpeggios, and tuning by ear.
I also work on vibrato, shifting positions, music theory, and ear training. Advanced students often request my help with spiccato and staccato bowing or classical repertoire. Honestly, the hardest part of violin playing is maintaining consistent form while learning new pieces. I prioritize steady pacing to ensure you master each movement before moving forward. My Master of Music degree from Berklee allows me to break down difficult sections into manageable pieces. I provide a recorded playback of tricky passages for home practice so you never feel lost.
