About Leo
What stands me out from other tutors of my age is my passion and understanding of the Maths course itself. My vivid understanding of the Maths GCSE Course allows me to grasp different components within the topic and skilfully assess and explain the topic in the shortest, yet most effective way possible for the pupil to understand.
As I am 16, it means i've only recently completed my GCSEs. However, this puts me at an advantage than most tutors. As a result of this, it means that I can recognize different parts of the course that most pupils struggled on and can structure my lessons through that, and focus on each part differently in order tomake my lessons effective, rather than inefficient.
In my freetime, I play chess, hang out with friends and focus on crafting my maths skills and perfecting it, as I strive to become a mathematican, and one day work in Accounting or Finance in the future.

Teaching Methodology:
• My lessons always revolve around clear and set structures. A routine is pivotal to a pupil’s development. I regularly offer opportunities for my pupils to ask questions if they are confused as I take my pride in ensuring no stone is left unturned when teaching content. I'll make it my duty to go over any content that they struggle on and provide them compelling examples and questions on any topic that they desire.
• Lessons will last approximately 1hr 10mins, in which the last 10 mins will consist of a Practice Review Exercise, where we'll go over the content we have reviewed in the lesson and practice some more challenging questions to ensure the pupil has understood the method behind each different type of question.
• Experience: Aiding Year 10s and Year 11s afterschool with their Maths Homework.
• I provide lessons for those in Year 10 and Year 11, and provide support for those in any set.
