I teach in a way that involves explaining with examples. If I see that one approach to explaining is not working, I would always try to either do it differently or try a different approach, as I understand that various people learn differently.
A typical lesson plan would be going over any assignments the student would have. I would then solve and dissect their work and why particular concepts work and why others would not. If there are no assignments, I will provide lessons to utilize lessons they would have learned to understand different lessons better.
What sets me apart is my adaptability and willingness to be flexible. If one thing is not working out for me, I am willing to change my approach for the benefit of the student. I am also patient, as I will not grow frustrated at a student for not understanding something the first few times because I know that people learn at different paces.
The lessons would mainly be for people at a high school level or lower. I have little issue with teaching people who are not fluent in English or are learning English as a second language. I can cover a wide range of topics, from writing essays to understanding concepts and grammar, among many other things.
