About Sam
Hi, my name is Sam, I am an A Level student in my first year studying Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. In my experience a tutorial lesson should be fun and interactive, not to just be made to read something and do some practice questions. I take on a hands-on approach to my lessons. Firstly, if this is what you require, I can explain a complex concept in really understandable terms so that you feel confident in your learning. Secondly, the student should be in the driver's seat at all times, so should ask questions and interrupt if you're unsure about something. Finally, we might finish off with a summary of the content we have learned, a game or some practice questions to really solidify what you need to know into your long-term memory.

My lessons are completely tailored to a student's preferences and needs. All the information I need is the topic or subject area you are struggling in and I will form a lesson around that. It can include understanding difficult concepts and then some practice to make sure you understand the topic back to front. I will hopefully be able to teach you all the tips and tricks to achieve a Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry, just as I did. My lessons can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
