I have always wanted to teach and it is a career I am keen to get into. This is because helping people unlock knowledge and enable their full potential, not only as students but as intellectual individuals in the world, fulfils me as I believe education really is power!

I can help students understand the conventions needed in order to secure high marks. I will help students understand the formula in achieving high marks, through not only understanding what literary techniques the mark scheme is looking for, but also how to critically think and interpret texts. Length of a lesson would typically be 45 minutes, with independent work set each week. I have never tutored before but have helped myself gain top marks in English Literature at GCSE. I also studied it at A-level and am currently in my second year studying BA English Literature at Cardiff University.
