About John
Hi there! Thanks for popping by. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I am a freelance audio professional, working within the fields of music production, audio editing and post-production, audio branding and mixing. I also work in sound design for film and other projects.
With nearly two decades of experience within music production and the music industry, I have worked with artists such as Ashley Slater (Freakpower), Polly Scattergood, Mark Baker, Novablood, Cut La Roc, Declan McLaughlin (Japanese Popstars, Last Survivor), Pip Bowers and many more in collaborative, remixing and production roles. I have built up a knowledge and repertoire that can help people wanting their audio, whether it is musical or spoken word, to sound as good as it possibly can.
Additionally, I have released 4 artist albums and dozens of singles that have been played by DJs the world over, including support from artists such as Above and Beyond, Roger Sanchez, Anthony Pappa, Plump DJs and more. My releases have also received plays on BBC Radio 1.
I have provided sound design and editing services to independent films including the 2022 production "Graveyard Shift" and am currently working with the CAD department at York St John University on an upcoming AR computer game aimed at improving the teaching of science to primary school pupils.
