About Samuel
My name is Sam. I am 2000 rated on Lichess and enjoy teaching chess. I have played in several tournaments. I can easily explain chess concepts and work with students.
I can teach beginners by explaining the fundamentals of the opening, middlegame, and endgame. I can also help more experienced players improve.

My lessons are based on the skills of the person I'm teaching, but fundamentally, they all cover the same ideas:
Tactics: Learning and practicing tactics is the most important skill in chess; I will provide puzzles and analyze them with you.
Middlegame: I teach the fundamental ideas and strategy of the middlegame.
Endgame: I will help you in understanding endgame scenarios, including knight vs. bishop, bishop vs. bishop, two rooks vs. two rooks, one rook vs. one rook, etc.
