About Macy
My name is Macy! I finished my undergraduate degree in Law and Criminal Justice at Liverpool John Moores University. I have just completed my thesis at the University of Cambridge, in criminology. While studying I realised how much of an impact my professors and tutors made on my experience there. I would love to have an impact, that was as positive as the one they had on me, on others! I am a native English speaker, however I speak Welsh (fluently) and I am learning to speak Russian and Swedish also! Languages have always been my passion, therefore teaching English seems a good way to put that forward!

Fun, yet productive lessons. Ranging from learning to read and write, to GCSE prep! I will teach those learning English how to construct sentences, converse with other English speakers and be confident. My classes will include preparing flash cards, learning sentence structures and tenses, alongside communication skills. For GCSE students we will go through classic books on the syllabus and poetry, learning how to critically analyse the texts. For younger children (primary school level) we will go through spelling, comprehension and grammar, in a fun, stress-free manner, while reaching our weekly goals (goals of which will be set out by myself, and confirmed by parents or guardians).
