About Callum
From a young age, I've had a passion for learning languages. I believe a language is the lens through which we view the world, and this is what inspired me to pursue my academic pursuits as well as this career. I wish to inspire that sentiment in my students, helping them to establish a connection with the language, and a reason for learning it. After all, when things get tough, this is what will keep you motivated to learn. Having learnt several languages from scratch, I know what the different stages of acquisition require. Wherever you are, and whatever your goals may be, I want to accompany you on your language learning journey, and help to guide you in the right direction, so that we can achieve your goals as efficiently as possible.

I am a fun, approachable teacher, but one who is seriously committed to meeting your goals and needs. Lessons will typically last from 30 minutes to an hour, with each class tailored to specifically fit my student's requirements and ability.
I have a wide array of professional experience, having worked teaching English as a second language at a private boarding school in Argentina. This role required me to help students practice their language skills inside the classroom, as well as to take that knowledge into more everyday, informal scenarios. I gained vital experience in lesson planning and delivery, which I intend to apply to my online classes moving forward.
I was also employed by Hereford Sixth Form College in the UK as a cover teacher for Certificate of Mathematical Studies (AS Level) and volunteered during the Covid-19 pandemic, giving online classes to students in both French and Spanish. These experiences mean that I have a vast range of teaching experience, and am familiar with teaching a second language online.
I have experience working with different age ranges, specifically children from 3-18 years of age. However, I would love to expand this, and also focus on teaching adults. Whatever your needs, I'm here to help YOU.
