About Nia
I am a student at the University of Cambridge, currently in my second year. I have been giving lessons for about a year now, teaching over a dozen students in that time. As of next year, I will be studying Education (with Psychology), but currently study Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic studies (very niche, I know!). I'm able to help with A-levels, GCSEs, Dissertation prep (especially anything involving research methods!), and also with applying to universities (or for jobs!)

My teaching method is adapted to each student, their needs, and (if applicable) their curriculum. My main aim is to encourage my students to become independent learners and critical thinkers, not only able to pass but to see their subject in a new way. Learning strategies and revision techniques will be assessed, and help (and resources) given where necessary. For both GCSE and A-Level, practice always makes perfect, so expect some (but not too much) homework. I'm always happy to adapt to what suits you, your learning style, and your goals!

Nia tutored me through some particularly rough parts of my Welsh course, and is a very capable tutor, who knows how to talk a student carefully through a topic so that they can often reach the conclusion by themselves, providing explanations when they are struggling.
