About Jake
I have graduated from the University of Cambridge with a 2.1 in psychology, and currently remain at the University while engaged in my Masters degree. I am familiar with the A-level psychology curriculum as well as further undergraduate psychology, and have experience tutoring both English and Psychology to students aged 16 and up.

Lessons are personalised to student's needs, with a strong focus on building lasting transferable skills which can then be applied by student to better engage with psychology at A-level and beyond, and allow independent learning. I teach students how to quickly and effectively understand the key methodologies and figures with psychology, and aim to foster studying habits that will allow students to engage with this material stress-free on their own. Going further, I aim to instruct students how to properly read and evaluate psychology papers and textbooks, and then effectively transfer this information into academic work.
