About Sara

As a current PhD student, I have picked up many valuable academic skills. I believe academic craft is truly a skill where the right guidance and support can easily teach these transferable skills which act as a pillar in student success. My experience places me in the prime position to help other students looking to improve their performance and better their overall skillset. Academic work can seem daunting, but I want to help students push past these barriers to strive and excel to the best of their potential!

About the lesson

My lessons are catered to the student’s preferred form of learning (interactive / lecture style) which both offer many invaluable skills. I also have access to a wide range of materials where I can go through past papers with students, highlighting what key skills are needed to score top marks. I can also provide materials for students to go through before/after sessions where we can track and reflect on their progress to pinpoint areas for further improvement. I have extensive experience in essay writing and have had many different academic and non-academic publications meaning I know how to cater work to specifically achieve the highest marks and deliver this knowledge through fun and interactive sessions. I also cater my resources to students’ preferred learning style with a range of custom visual, audio and written materials to suit all student needs! My lesson plan tends to be flexible so any suggestions or specificities students want to focus on are always welcomed.
