About Toni
Hello! I’m a Cambridge medical student with over six years of tutoring experience, helping students from Year 7 through to A-Level achieve their academic goals in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. I’m passionate about making challenging topics accessible and enjoyable by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps.
I believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right support. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each individual’s learning needs. Whether a student is aiming to improve their confidence, catch up on difficult topics, or achieve top grades, I work closely with them to build a strong understanding and effective exam technique. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing the confidence to reach their full potential.

Each lesson is tailored to individual goals, abilities, and learning style of the student. The session begins with a brief review in order to consolidate previous learning and spot any gaps. The new topic is explained via thorough explanation, examples and discussion followed by gradual progression to independent practice.
Having more than six years of experience as a tutor, I understand how crucial building students’ confidence is. I encourage asking questions, explaining the thought process and learning from mistakes in a positive atmosphere. Exam style questions and good revision strategies are also included into lessons in order to help students learn to pass exams successfully and gain a deep understanding of the subject.
