About Apurva
Hi there! My name is Apurva and I'm a first year medical student studying at the University of Cambridge. I studied A-levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics and achieved 4A*s in the 2022 exam series. I've been tutoring for around a year now - my approach with students is simple but effective. My A-level lessons consist of breaking down difficult ideas into fundamental concepts. Through this, I ensure you build a first principles understanding of the specification content that we then apply to exam-style questions. The admissions process for medicine is strenuous, however having been through it myself I am very well equipped to support students. I achieved 3050 in the UCAT exam, which is amongst the top 1% of my cohort. I also achieved 7.6, 8.1, 3.5A in the BMAT exam - which is amongst the top 0.1% of my cohort. I applied to Cambridge, UCL, Queen Mary and King's College London and received conditional offers from all 4 universities. I offer support for UCAT/BMAT preparation, building the perfect personal statement and Oxbridge/Medicine interview preparation.
