About Jago
I have recently completed the third year of my BA in Mathematics at Jesus College Cambridge, with first class honors, and am now having a summer off before continuing at Cambridge for my masters.
Being able to understand and appreciate the beauty of mathematics was what made it my favourite subject all throughout school, and it is that level of understanding and appreciation that I hope to share with all of my students.
As well as having sat the A-level maths, further maths, MAT and STEP exams myself, I have a year's tutoring experience in GCSE / A-level maths (and physics). Whether you would like a one-off refresher on a couple of key topics, or continuous lessons over the whole summer, I would be happy to help.

We can discuss what you would like to get out of these lessons, and as such there are many different possible approaches we could take.
You could suggest a topic you are struggling with, or perhaps haven't yet covered in class, and I could plan a lesson covering that topic, or find some exam questions at varying levels of difficulty on that topic to go through together.
Equally, you might have some specific questions you would like to go over, and I would happily go through those with you, with an emphasis on general problem-solving tips and how you could solve a similar problem yourself next time.
You might even be someone who wants to apply to do mathematics at university at some point in the near future, and wants practice at interview-style problems, or entrance exams, or just a more general chat about what the application process / undergraduate study is like.
For me, the most important thing is for you to be engaged and following along; I would never want my lessons to feel like a lecture or a chore, I want them to be a two-way discussion! Asking / answering questions is how you will get a deep understanding of mathematics.
