About Sionna
As a Cambridge graduate with a lifelong love of books, I'm excited to help students develop a similar passion for literature and improve their writing skills. My undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations were both on topics related to early modern literature, and both scored first-class results.
Since graduating in 2022, I have undertaken a variety of professional writing work, including as a freelance journalist for publications including The Metro and as a novelist.

I offer weekly one/two-hour lessons for all skillsets and levels up to A level. Depending on the subject (English literature/creative writing/essay writing/classics), I work with students to explore literary texts, discover a love of reading, and improve their own written skills. I aim to introduce students to a wide range of books, articles, poems, and plays, to help connect them with literature they enjoy - however niche. I also offer feedback on student essays and creative writing.
