I’m a passionate primary school teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching in the UK and China. I love helping young learners, especially those learning English as a second language, develop strong skills in reading, writing, and phonics.

I use interactive, student-centered methods focused on phonics, reading, and writing. Lessons are 50-60 minutes and designed for primary-aged students, especially ESL learners. I’m here to fully support your learning goals with a flexible, tailored approach to ensure your success!
I cover a range of topics, including:
• Phonetics: Sounding out, blending words, tricky words, decodable books
• Reading: Reading aloud and improving sentence fluency
• Vocabulary: Understanding definitions, finding new words, using words in context and expanding oral fluency
• Spelling and Punctuation: Mastering the rules of spelling and proper punctuation
• Comprehension: Utilising the 6 reading skills and answering questions correctly
