About Charlotte
Hi, I’m Charlotte! I achieved an A in A-Level Biology and a Grade 9 at GCSE*, and went on to study at the University of Cambridge. I’m now completing my Master’s at King’s College London.
Having recently been through GCSE and A-Level study myself, I understand both the academic content and the challenge of turning that knowledge into marks in an exam. I particularly enjoy helping students break complicated topics down into something much more manageable and building their confidence in areas they find difficult.
I’m friendly, patient and adaptable, and I tailor my teaching to the individual student rather than assuming one approach works for everyone. Alongside Biology itself, I can help with revision strategies, exam technique, essay-style questions and effective independent study.
My aim is to help students improve their results while also developing study skills and confidence that will be useful well beyond their next exam.

Biology can feel overwhelming when there is a huge amount of content to remember, so my lessons focus on making complex topics clear, manageable and easy to recall. I tailor each session to the individual student, whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, revising for exams or improving your exam technique.
We can work through the syllabus together, identify weaker areas, practise past-paper questions and focus on exactly what examiners are looking for. I also help students develop effective revision techniques so that they understand the material rather than simply memorising it.
Lessons are relaxed and supportive, and there is never any pressure to already understand something — we can go back to the basics and build from there. For A-Level students, I can tailor sessions to your specific exam board and upcoming assessments.
