I am a Fellow of a Cambridge college, the author of academic articles on various Classical and Medieval subjects, and a teacher with over 2000 hours of experience. I have a BA (1st class), MPhil and PhD in Classics from Cambridge.

Most methods of teaching Latin and Ancient Greek result in students who take 5 minutes to read one sentence and who end up misunderstanding everything. My goal is to take an able student and teach them how to read the ancient languages like any other language. I also insist on traditional rigour. I want a student to avoid having to unlearn bad habits at a later stage.
