About Deeksha
I am a learner and student just like you, constantly expanding my learning horizons through teaching and mentorship. I have entered and won various writing contests, notable of which are the QCEC International essay contest and the Cambridge center for animal rights law essay contest. I am an extensive, avid reader who loves learning about everything from CRISPR genetic technology to collectivist philosophy! I am also an advocate for lifelong learning, which I'm inspired to do because of my journey in self-schooling for the majority of high school.

I integrate social-emotional learning and heritage studies in my classes, including interesting stories from world mythology that illustrate the concept I am teaching. My subject material is eclectic and wide-ranging, giving students exposure to all aspects of learning. I also design special leadership and advocacy programs to encourage students towards being role models in their communities. My students can come to me for any of their mentorship or counseling needs. Additionally, having taken a course on 'Learning how to Learn', I know a lot of techniques in effective, lifelong learning!
