About Nur Amalia
Hi! I’m Lia, an English educator with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English & Public Relations and a Master of Education. Over the years, I’ve taught students of different ages and abilities in Malaysia and overseas, helping them build confidence in English both inside and outside the classroom.
I enjoy working with learners from primary school through to secondary level, as well as adults looking to improve their English for work, study or everyday communication. I believe every student has the potential to succeed when they are given the right support, encouragement and learning strategies.
Seeing my students become more confident, independent and proud of their progress is the most rewarding part of teaching. Whether you’re preparing for an exam or simply want to strengthen your English skills, I’d be delighted to support you on your learning journey.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their goals, learning style and pace. Whether you’re preparing for Cambridge Primary, Checkpoint, IGCSE First Language English, ESL, IELTS, or simply looking to improve your confidence in English, lessons are personalised to help you make steady progress.
With more than 6 years of experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum in Malaysia and overseas, I focus on building strong reading, writing, speaking and critical thinking skills. My lessons are engaging, supportive and structured, with clear explanations, guided practice and constructive feedback to help students become confident learners.
Lessons are typically 45-60 minutes and can be conducted online or face-to-face. I teach primary, secondary and adult learners, whether they need long-term academic support, exam preparation or help improving their English communication skills.
My aim is not only to help students achieve better results but also to help them become confident, independent learners who enjoy using English.
