About Fred
I studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge and have tutored a variety of students privately over the years. I enjoy helping young people make sense of physics, especially when a subject that initially seems difficult begins to click.
My approach is patient and thorough. I take time to understand where a student is struggling and adapt my explanations to their needs. My aim is to build both their understanding and their confidence, giving them the tools to tackle problems independently.

My lessons help students understand physics and develop confidence in solving problems. We work through concepts step by step, connecting the ideas to practical examples before applying them to exercises.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, pace, and goals—whether they need support with schoolwork, want to strengthen their foundations, or are preparing for exams. I encourage questions and explain the reasoning behind formulae, so students understand when and how to use them.
