About Arjun

I'm a Cambridge certified Science and Social Studies teacher. I'm currently taking a break from school in order to obtain my US teaching license. I have taught students internationally and I bring to the table a treasure chest full of knowledge and enthusiasm. I have achieved a little bit of fame for my World History Chart, a timeline of human history, which was covered by The Hindu, a news page. I am obsessed with history, especially scientific history.

- I use a lot of digital tools for education: this includes videos, visual content, charts, etc. that I personally create for lessons. My lessons are student-centered and I encourage students to do discovery-based learning. - As a CELTA certified teacher, my lesson plan includes a lead-in (questions or discussions) to get you interested in the topic. Lessons can include gap-fill activities, matching activities, etc. in the middle portion. Lessons end with an exit ticket to ensure that full understanding has been achieved. For instance, in a lesson about Hydrogen, a lead-in can be based on historic depictions of it, the lesson may include a video of diving into Jupiter which has a metallic liquid hydrogen core, and the exit ticket may be about your understanding of linking it to properties. - As a tutor, I make sure to engage you in subjects I'm obsessed about. I always manage to spread that enthusiasm using my teaching methods. -I have taught middle schoolers, high schoolers, and university students. Out of the age groups, I have worked with high schoolers the most.
