Calculus students often struggle with optimization problems or the nuances of implicit differentiation while navigating limits and continuity. I earned my BS in Math Education from the University of Maryland and have spent 7 years guiding students through derivatives, area, and volume. My method focuses on the underlying concepts first, using visuals to build a strong foundation before we move to symbol-crunching.

Practice is the final step to locking in these strategies and solving complex problems with ease. Having taught students at every level, I understand how to break down intimidating topics into manageable parts. These 7 years have shown me that a steady approach leads to genuine confidence. I value this clear path to understanding math.

About the lesson

Do you find yourself getting stuck when visual graphs translate into abstract algebraic equations? My lessons prioritize motion and geometry to make these concepts intuitive and clear.
