About Michael
My name is Michael, and I’ve spent my whole life in Southern California. Right now, I’m on a journey—exploring where life will lead me next. At 16, I took the California High School Proficiency Exam due to family health challenges, allowing me to graduate early and be more present for my loved ones. During that time, I immediately began taking online college courses. I originally intended to major in Kinesiology, but after transferring to Cal Poly, I discovered my deeper interest in understanding people and switched to Psychology. I earned my B.S. in Psychology in 2023. Since graduating, I’ve been working as a teacher—pursuing my passion for helping others and honoring the power of human connection. I believe that when we treat each other with true attention and care, we create the conditions for growth, resilience, and renewed purpose. That belief guides everything I do.

I’ve spent the past two years teaching students of all ages, with a special focus on those with special needs. My strength lies in teaching at the elementary level, where I prioritize building strong, trusting relationships with my students.
I believe that true learning happens when teaching is tailored to a student’s individual style—and when both teacher and student are actively engaged. My approach is collaborative and flexible: I don’t lecture for the sake of lecturing. Instead, I work alongside my students, making learning an interactive, dynamic experience that feels empowering and personal.
