Hi! I’m Prue, a dedicated and approachable tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I’m currently a marketing and management double major at Tulane University, where I’ve developed strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills that I bring into every tutoring session.
I have prior tutoring experience and truly enjoy breaking down complex material into clear, understandable concepts for younger students. I believe learning should feel supportive and empowering, not intimidating, and I work hard to create a positive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

A typical session starts with a brief check-in and review of previous material to reinforce learning. From there, we focus on current topics or assignments, working through examples together and addressing problem areas in real time.. Having experience as both a student and a tutor, I understand academic pressure and how discouraging challenging material can feel. I prioritize creating a comfortable, judgment-free environment where students feel confident asking questions. I am organized, reliable, and committed to helping students not only improve academically, but also develop effective study habits and long-term learning skills. My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students seeking academic support, reinforcement, or enrichment. Further, I work with students across a range of subjects and levels.
